Due to the success of the 2010 Winter programme run at RAYC, there shall be courses being run throughout August and September (school Term 3).
The courses shall be sailed in the 25 foot Platu keelboat.
The registration forms for the Winter courses can be found below.
A six week course shall be held every Sunday morning 9.30 am - 12.30 pm running from Sunday 7th August 2011 - 11th September 2011 (weather permitting).
Platu Keelboat
This course is an introduction to small keelboat sailing. The course shall teach sailors the basics in all aspects of keelboat sailing from sailing with a spinnaker to crew work, from sail settings to hiking.
Pre-requisits: Confident sailors with at least a seasons experience in Optimists, Cadets or 420's.
Certification: RAYC Keelboat Course
Extras: Winter Race series runs until the end of August.
