Membership at RAYC
The Royal Akarana Yacht Club is next to the water in Okahu Bay, Auckland, with stunning view of Rangitoto Island and the Waitemata Harbour. The club strive to promote an open and friendly atmosphere that the whole family can enjoy. Membership has many benefits and is affordable.
We cater for Juniors, with Yachting New Zealand recognised learn to sail programmes and qualifications, and also have Youth and Adult sailing and paddling programmes.
The club is involved with local schools running sailing lessons throught the summer.
The RAYC has a regular and active cruising division exploring the Hauraki Gulf during the summer. There is also club fleet racing all year round.
