The Gold Cup Inshore Series is held in the Hauraki Gulf.
Organised by The Royal Akarana Yacht Club, Richmond Yacht Club, Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and Bucklands Beach Yacht Club.
The series combines a range of night and day races, from 60 - 87nautical miles long.
Designed to provide a warm up for longer Coastal and Offshore Races, and as an introduction to longer harbour racing and night time navigation for skippers and crew wanting to go further afield.
Open to boats of all types and sizes who comply with Yachting New Zealand Safety Category 4.
There is a Monohull and Multihull Division, and boats can race under PHRF, IRC and ORC Club.
