The Royal Akarana Yacht Club is proud to host National Regatta's such as the

 

New Zealand National Keelboat Championships

where the best sailors in New Zealand come together to race in identical keelboats to determine New Zealands best skipper and crew.

New Zealand Women's National Keelboat Championships 

the best women's keelboat skipper and crews race against each other in identical keelboats to determine the champion

 

and also various Class Nationals including Farr 727, Elliott 5.9, Platu 25, F18
